I love the newer worship songs they play in most churches, but I also love many of the old hymns. It’s sad that some churches are throwing out the old hymns because there’s room for all kinds of worship music. Here are my 10 favorite hymns.

10. How Great Thou Art

Carl Gustav Boberg (1885)

9. Leaning on the Everlasting Arms

Elisha A. Hoffman (1887)

8. Tell Me the Old Old Story

Frances J. Crosby (1880)

7. There Power in the Blood

Lewis E. Jones (1899)

6. A Mighty Fortress is Our God

Martin Luther (1529)

5. It Is Well With My Soul

Horatio G. Spafford (1873)

4. Take My Life and Let It Be

Frances R. Havergal, (1874)

3. Just as I Am

Charlotte Elliott (1835)

2. I Have Decided

S. Sundar Singh

1. Amazing Grace

John Newton (1779)
