Word Sharpener News: On Thursday, I’m traveling to Cleveland, Tennessee. I have two reasons for going there.
My husband and I are going to babysit our grandsons for two weeks while their parents are on a missions trip to Ecuador. I posted a picture of them. Jak and Asher are the cutest and smartest grandsons in the world. I’m not biased at all, just being truthful.
The second reason we’re going there is because we bought 23 acres of land in Tennessee and are going to sign the papers. In a year or two, we will be building our log home complete with the perfect office for a writer and a mountain view to inspire creativity.
Holidays This Week:

Quote of the Week: What I would say is Jesus came to save lost sinners like you and me, and if Jesus Christ has a burning desire to seek and save the lost, then you should, too, if Christ is living within you. If you don’t have a concern for the lost, then I am concerned about your salvation because the Holy Spirit wants the lost to come to Christ. — Kirk Cameron
Verse of the Week: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10
Song of the Week: Come as You Are by Crowder
Hymn: Just As I Am by Charlotte Elliott (1835)
Video of the Week: Skit Guys – The Parachute
Life Sharpening Tip: If you are not sure if you’re saved, ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. Confess Him as your Lord and Savior, and give your life to Him. If you are saved, look for opportunities to tell others about Jesus.
