Agent Pride is the main character on the new TV show, NCIS New Orleans. When he’s ready for his people to investigate a case, he tells them, “Learn things.” That is your challenge for today. Learn things.
What you decide to learn is up to you. You might want to learn to speak a different language, or you might be interested in learning more about American history, or astronomy, or art. Maybe you always wanted to learn to knit your own sweaters, or snow ski, or fold cloth napkins in different shapes, or even learn to paint. You might even have something you want to learn to do on your bucket list that you made yesterday. Whatever your passion for learning is, determine that this year, you will learn something new.
Learning Style: Now that you’ve decided to learn things and what you want to learn, it might be helpful to find out how you learn the easiest. Each person learns best through a certain learning style. These are the most common learning styles:
- Visual Learners learn through what they see.
- Auditory Learners learn through hearing, talking, and reading.
- Tactile/Kinesthetic Learners learn through touching and doing.
