The One True Promise of Christmas

Thanks for having me, Tamera! I think it’s so much fun that we are visiting each other’s blogs today and that our Christmas books have such similar titles.
The Christmas Promise is the title of my book, but to me the one true promise of Christmas is the birth of Jesus. I love reading the passage in Luke chapter two that tells of our savior’s birth.
One of my favorite Christmas decorations is the manger my youngest son always wants to help set up. He is now a teenager and still wants to be involved with this aspect of decorating the house. J I hope he never tires of setting out the manger and placing the figures inside.
Sometimes the hustle and bustle of all the activities this time of year make it difficult to appreciate the holiday, but I hope you can find time to sit beside the fire or curl up in your favorite chair and relax. Enjoy a Christmas movie, or book, J or better yet, open the Bible up to Luke chapter two and read through that very familiar passage all the Christmas pageants quote.
