I was at the Women of Faith Conference in Pittsburg when I heard Henry Cloud, a Christian pyschologist, talk about necessary endings. God used it to show me why I was stuck, and a lightbulb went off in my head. I knew what I needed to do.
A couple of weeks ago, I quit a ministry I’d done for years. It was a good ministry, and I enjoyed it, but through God’s urging, I realized that it wasn’t where my focus was or where God was taking me. It distracted me from what God is doing in my life now. So I resigned. I made a necessary ending so I could go forward. What are some of the things you need to end that are distracting you from where God’s leading you now?
