My Review: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I loved the story, “The Master’s Wall”. The main characters of David and Althea kept me glued to the pages. Their story of sacrifice, faith, and suffering in early Christian history gave faces to the things people of that age had to go through. The action and adventure were non-stop, from the first page where David tried to free his parent from the Roman guards to the riviting end. I also loved the theme of sacrifice and redemption that threaded through the pages. David especially had me cheering for him, an orphaned Christian sold into slavery at age 10 and bound by his word and his desire to protect Althea to keep him from escaping. This novel is well worth reading. I didn’t give it five stars only because it lacked development of secondary characters and explained at times too much that the reader could get on thier own. The writing wasn’t the best, but the story more than made up for it. Overall, it was a great read.
