Word Sharpener Week

AChristmasPromise_medVerse of the Week: Matthew 1:21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. NIV

Quote of the Week: Late on a sleepy, star-spangled night, those angels peeled back the sky just like you would tear open a sparkling Christmas present. Then, with light and joy pouring out of Heaven like water through a broken dam, they began to shout and sing the message that baby Jesus had been born. The world had a Savior! The angels called it “Good News,” and it was. — Larry Libby

Song of the Week: Mary Did You Know

Hymn of the Week: What Child is This

Life Sharpening Tip of the Week: Organize your Christmas tasks. Make a list of everything you want to do. Place a star beside the things that have to be done. Then schedule similar tasks together. It will cut down on the stress of Christmas.

This Week’s Challenge: While you work on your Christmas to do list, think about how Christ came into the world to save us from our sins. That’s the real reason for the season.
