Word Sharpener News: It has been a rough few weeks for me. In the past four months, I’ve lost three members of my extended family and two close friends. Four of them died within this last month. But God is faithful, and I will see them again. We do not grieve as those who have no hope.
Holidays This Week: Thursday, May 7 is National Day of Prayer. The theme is Lord, hear our cry. The United States of America has never needed prayer more than it does now.
For more information, go to National Day of Prayer Website.

Sunday, May 10, is Mother’s Day. Woodrow Wilson declared the first Mother’s Day in 1914. Plan something special for your mother this year. This is my mother’s picture from when she was a senior in high school. She is very special to me.
