Word Sharpener News: Today is President’s Day. We used to celebrate Lincoln’s Birthday on February 12th and George Washington’s Birthday on February 22nd, but somebody had the great idea of combining them into one holiday.
February has many other important birthdays. My daughter Veronica was born on February 22nd, George Washington’s birthday. My grandson Jonathan Alexander (Jak) was born on February 15th. Today is his birthday. My grandson Asher Daniel was born on February 21st. He almost made it to his Auntie V’s birthday.
The important thing about February, other than the important birthdays and President’s Day, is I get to eat a lot of cake. February is a good month.
