Saturday night has always been considered date night, so your challenge for today is to plan a date with your spouse. Many times, couples get so busy after they get married that they forget to spend quality time with their spouses. But it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been married, dating and romance are important.
If you have young children at home, you might think this is out of the question – especially if there are financial issues involved. Think about having a babysitting co-op with your friends. Each person in the co-op babysits all the children once a month while the others go on a date night.
Also your “dates” don’t have to be expensive. Go for a walk in the park, or rent a DVD and watch a movie at home. You could even get dressed up and turn on romantic music so you can go dancing in your living room.
The important thing is to put romance back in your relationship and have quality time alone with your spouse. So have a nice date night.
