Go to Church with Your Family
Today’s challenge is to go to church as a family.
Spouse: This may be a difficult challenge for you. Your spouse may refuse to go to church or may go to a different church. You are not responsible for that. You can invite him and pray for him, but you can’t make him go. I was in your shoes once. You may want to read my story for encouragement.
Children: Your children are another matter. You can require your children to go to church just as you require your children to brush their teeth or go to school. Don’t wait until they are older. Statistics show that 90% of all children are saved between the ages of four and fourteen. If you wait too long, it may be too late. If you haven’t been requiring this, it may be difficult at first. You may have to sit your children down and apologize for not “making” them go to church. But make it very clear that from this day forward, you will go to church as a family.
